Terms of service

Last updated: 29 July 2026

These terms apply when you use Care, a compliance management service operated by iBuzz Ltd (company number 13378925), registered in England. By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What Care is, and is not

Care is a software tool that helps health and social care providers organise compliance evidence, track readiness against CQC quality statements and manage routine records. It is not a regulator, a law firm or a compliance consultancy. Nothing in Care constitutes professional, legal or regulatory advice. CQC registration and inspection outcomes depend entirely on your service and the evidence you hold; Care describes your evidence position and cannot guarantee any regulatory outcome. You should not rely on Care as a substitute for professional advice where that advice is needed.

Your account

You must provide an accurate email address when signing up. You are responsible for keeping your login email secure — anyone who can access your email inbox can sign in to Care. Notify us immediately at hello@gocare.uk if you suspect unauthorised access. Each account corresponds to one registered service. You may not share your account with other organisations or use it on behalf of a service you do not operate.

Your responsibilities

  • The accuracy of the information you enter and the documents you upload is entirely your responsibility. Readiness scores, gap analyses and generated documents are built from what you provide. Review everything before relying on it or submitting anything to the CQC.
  • You confirm you are entitled to upload the records you add, including any personal data about your staff, and that you use Care in line with your own data protection obligations as a data controller.
  • You must not use Care to upload or store unlawful content, or attempt to access another user's data. You must not use Care in any way that could damage, disable or impair the service or interfere with other users.
  • Where Care supports the logging of statutory notifications (such as CQC Regulation 18 notifications), you remain responsible for submitting those notifications correctly and on time. Care assists you in drafting and tracking them but does not submit on your behalf.

Service availability

We aim to keep Care available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may carry out maintenance or updates that cause brief periods of unavailability and will try to minimise disruption. We are not liable for losses arising from downtime outside our reasonable control.

Your data

Your records belong to you. You can export your data at any time. Our privacy policy explains how we store, process and protect it. If you close your account, we will delete your data within 90 days.

Intellectual property

Care and its underlying software, design and content are owned by iBuzz Ltd. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Care for the purpose of managing compliance records for your registered service. You retain ownership of all records and documents you upload.

Liability

We provide Care with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, iBuzz Ltd is not liable for regulatory outcomes, inspection ratings, loss of contracts, lost profits or any indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Care. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting hello@gocare.uk. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, if your subscription payment fails after reasonable notice, or if we are required to do so by law. We will give reasonable advance notice where possible.

General

We may update these terms as the service develops and will flag material changes by email or in-app notice before they take effect. Continued use of Care after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Questions: hello@gocare.uk.
